Help during and after your delivery
Are you going to give birth at home, in the maternity clinic, or in the hospital in Curacao? Then you can also arrange maternity care through us! In the case of a home birth, we can also have the maternity nurse assist with the birth (parturition assistance) on request so that she is there from the very first moment.
Maternity care means daily checks of the little one, checking the health of the mother, and supporting the family in this first week/weeks. Imagine you are having your first child and are still a bit nervous about how to best care for your baby? Our maternity nurse will teach you and guide you. We ensure that you get some rest and a bite to eat, while also spending time on breastfeeding so that it gets going well and mom gets the hang of the technique.
Maternity care is tailor-made, adjustable (in terms of hours), so that it is suitable for everyone's wishes and for every budget. Make sure you request this on time! Because it can fill up quickly.
Insurance
Our maternity care is not reimbursed by local insurers! Provided that this is explicitly covered in your policy (and preferably requested via a guarantee letter). Are you insured in the Netherlands or internationally? Then, for example via OOM, SZVK (defense) or Zorgzaam, the largest part is often reimbursed (reimbursement after invoice).

Congratulations qith your baby! During the postpartum period, I'll be there for you – to care, support, and be a source of calm during this special time. I'll monitor the health of mother and baby, offer advice on care and nutrition, and help out around the house as needed. Whether it's your first child or you already have siblings, I'll tailor my care to your needs. Together, we'll ensure you can experience this time with confidence and peace of mind.
