from 6-7 weeks: Viability
Pregnancy check-up, for example after blood loss (location, heartbeat, number of fetuses).
10-12 weeks: dating scan
For determining the stage/term of the pregnancy
12-14 weeks: 13 week scan
At the 13-week scan, growth and possible abnormalities are checked at an early stage. This is possible between 12+3 and 14+3 weeks of pregnancy. No gender statements are made.

18-21 weeks: 20 week anomaly scan
During this scan we look at the growth and development of the baby and check for possible abnormalities.

From 24 weeks: Growth (fetal wellbeing)
Ultrasound check on the growth and wellbeing of the baby. The amniotic fluid and placenta are also examined.
32 weeks: Position of the placenta
Ultrasound check of the position of the placenta in relation to the cervix.
36 weeks: Position of the baby
Ultrasound check of the baby's position (breech or head position).
