Do you want a water birth?

Giving birth in a bath provides a calming and natural experience that has many benefits for both mother and baby. The warm water helps relax your muscles, which can reduce the pain of contractions and make labor smoother. It provides more comfort, flexibility and a feeling of weightlessness, which can reduce the chance of tearing or medical intervention. In addition, the warm water can help you focus more on your breathing and movements, which is conducive to a calm labor.

 

We use a professional inflatable birthing pool with soft edges, handles and a cup holder for extra comfort. Your partner can even sit in the pool with you to support you during this special moment. For hygiene, we use a new, plastic-sealed liner for each birth and we always clean the pool thoroughly.

 

Even if you think you don't have a large space, such as a small guest room, a water birth is still possible. We will visit your home in advance to see how we can connect the water hose and ensure that everything is well prepared.
